Programming steps for beginners:Acquiring skills using schools

I'm answering questions like, what is it actually like when I start learning programming, and are there any concerns?

This is a pattern using school.

These are impressions from people with no programming experience who actually took the course, so please take a look at them for reference.

First of all, I think there are many reasons to learn programming.

Because you can work anywhere you like.

I want to create an app.

I want to acquire skills that I can use in my side job.

I also do this for the same reasons.

Is it possible to study at school while working?

Of course it is possible, but your progress will depend on how much time you have available to study.

I started taking the course at a time when I was getting used to my job and thought I would be able to study

It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be a little difficult to start studying new things just after changing jobs.

It may be possible if you work in the IT field in the first place.

The first course I took was a course that included mentoring twice a week and allowed me to exchange questions via chat using Slack.

I chose it because I'm a beginner and I thought it would be a little difficult to proceed without talking directly to anyone.

Having said that, I think it depends on the school, but you can view the textbook even after the course is over, so I don't think there will be any problem with taking the course if the timing is right.

The good thing about interacting with instructors is that you can hear them directly.

It's not just because you know someone in detail or belong to such a community.

The downside is that because I study while working, I don't have enough time to study, and my schedule falls behind.

I also took the course when I thought I would have time, but various events occur at work, so it's best to assume that things may not go as planned.

There are times when I have to take exams for other qualifications due to my job.

Having said that, I think it's a good idea to try it for the first time.

However, if a mentor explains that it is important not only to complete the assignments, but also to read them, it may become more tiring.

An unexpected benefit is that you can simply learn how to operate a computer, such as typing.

There's a little difference between typing English and Japanese.

Are you satisfied with the course system?

I think the course system is perfect.

You can choose between a type of mentoring recommended for beginners, and a type that emphasizes chat at your own pace.

The mentoring type also comes with chat questions, so you can have the best of both worlds.

P.S. The other day, when I was studying at a cafe, I heard that someone who works in management had started learning programming.

As with on-site and design work, many people are involved throughout the project.

For example, when deciding on a certain design, although it may be a specialized task, my daily work entails dealing with manufacturers that handle the specified products, dealing with administrative procedures, and completing tasks that follow the prescribed guidelines.

Under these circumstances, I think you can find the joy of learning programming, which allows you to create the sites and apps you want to create yourself.

The front end is what creates the appearance of websites and other things that we see on a daily basis.
